Wanted to refinance my Regions mortgage to lower rate, no problem until a credit check was completed, rep said some credit cards must be paid off first and would be added to mortgage, advised that would raise my mortgage to a much higher amount, of course, of which I didn't want. Haven't heard from our bank rep since, even after receiving all the documents that had to be signed and returned. Was cut off like a light switch, just because I refused to help pad his pockets anymore than normal. Service? Customer care? Not at Regions Bank/Mortgage.
